The agreement, in plain words.
What you can expect from Prevow, and what we ask of you in return.
The short version
- Prevow is a guided set of conversations for two people about to marry. It is not professional help, and it is not a test.
- Chapter one is free. One payment then opens the rest, for both of you, with nothing recurring.
- Your words are yours. We hold them; we do not own them.
- One account is one person. One couple is exactly two people.
- You can stop, pause, or leave at any time.
Who we are
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Moon Art Innovations Private Limited, the company that operates Prevow; “you” means the person using it. We are incorporated in India with our registered office in Jalandhar, Punjab, and we work from the IIM Ahmedabad Ventures Building, IIM Road, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015 — which is the address to write to. We are backed by IIMA Ventures at IIM Ahmedabad, who are an investor in the company; Prevow itself is ours. Everything we have published is listed on the policies page.
What Prevow is
A finite, structured programme of ten chapters for two people preparing to marry. You answer on your own, you sit down together, and each chapter closes on one line the two of you write and both agree to. It is designed to end before your wedding.
What Prevow is not
It is not professional help, medical advice, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. It grades nothing, ranks no one, and produces no percentage about your relationship, by design. If you are struggling, in distress, or unsafe, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local support service — and if it would help, ask us and we will point you to resources.
Who may use it
You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter an agreement. Prevow is built for exactly two people who intend to marry each other. One person holds one account; one account belongs to one couple at a time.
Pairing
One partner starts and invites the other. Pairing happens only when the invited partner explicitly accepts. Nothing in the programme opens until both of you have joined and answered your first questions. An invitation can be withdrawn and re-sent by the person who sent it.
Payment
- Chapter one is free, in full.
- A single payment then opens the remaining chapters for both partners. Either of you may pay; it only needs to happen once.
- There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- Prices are shown before you pay and may change for new couples in future. A change never affects a programme already paid for.
- Taxes are applied where required.
Refunds
Chapter one is free precisely so that you can decide before paying anything. Once the payment is made we are not able to return it. A charge that was duplicated, unauthorised, or that opened nothing is a different matter, and we will always put it right. If the two of you separate after paying we cannot return the payment either — but nothing you wrote is taken from you: your own answers remain yours to export or delete.
The full position, including purchases made inside an app store and how to raise a problem with a charge, is on the refunds and cancellations page, which forms part of these terms.
Your words
What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the product for you: to store your answers, to show them to your partner in exactly the way your consent state allows, and to produce the drafts and conversation guides the programme is made of. We do not claim ownership, we do not publish your words, and we do not use them in marketing. Handling is described on the privacy page.
Our words
The questions, the chapter structure, the guides, the software and the brand belong to us. You may use them inside Prevow for your own relationship. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute the question bank or the programme.
Using it fairly
Do not use Prevow to harass, coerce, threaten or deceive anyone, including your partner. Do not attempt to break, probe or work around the parts of the system that protect other people’s answers. Do not upload anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does these things, and where we close an account for that reason we are not able to return the payment.
The rules in full, what our safety screening does and does not do, and how to appeal a decision are on the acceptable use and safety page, which forms part of these terms.
Pausing, leaving, and endings
Either of you can pause the programme together, and either of you can end the pairing. When a pairing ends, notifications stop immediately, shared material becomes inaccessible by default, and a limited window opens in which both of you may agree to export it. Each person’s own answers remain their own throughout.
Availability
We aim to keep Prevow running and to keep improving it. We may change, add or retire features. If we ever have to withdraw the product entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your record with you.
Our responsibility, honestly stated
We take real care with something private and important, and we will own our mistakes. But Prevow is a set of questions and a place to write — the decisions, the conversations and the marriage are yours. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the outcomes of those conversations, and our liability is limited to what you paid us.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we will tell you inside the product before it takes effect. The date below is the date this version took effect.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jalandhar, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here takes away a right your local consumer law gives you and does not let you sign away — if you are a consumer, you may still bring a complaint where you live.
Before any of that, please just write to us — almost everything is fixable by a person reading a message. If our answer does not settle it, ask for it to be escalated to our grievance officer, Yugam, at prevow.app@gmail.com. A grievance is acknowledged within forty-eight hours and closed within thirty days.
