What we hold, and what we never do with it.
Written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will fix the wording.
The short version
- Your answers belong to you. Every one carries a state you set: Share, Sealed or Private.
- A Private answer is never shown to your partner — not its words, not the fact that it exists.
- We do not sell your words, rent them, or use them to advertise to you. There are no ads in Prevow.
- Delete means delete. You can export your answers, and you can erase them.
- We keep as little as we can for as long as we must, and no longer.
Who we are
In this page, “we” and “us” mean Moon Art Innovations Private Limited, the company that operates Prevow; “you” means the person using it. We are the data fiduciary for everything described below.

What we collect, and why
Your account
An email address or phone number so you can sign in, and a first name so your partner sees a human being rather than an identifier. Without this, we cannot create an account or pair the two of you.
What you tell us at the start
A small set of context you give us when you begin: your wedding date if you have one, how you met, how long you have known each other, the city or cities you live in, and how you expect to live after the wedding, along with a short set of story questions about the home you each grew up in. This is used for one purpose: to choose and word the questions you are asked. It is not used to profile you, and it is not sold.
Your answers
What you write inside the chapters. This is the most sensitive material in the product and it is treated that way. Every eligible answer carries one of three states, set by you, before your partner sees anything:
- Share — shown to your partner once you have both completed that part of the chapter, never earlier.
- Sealed — your partner is shown that something exists for the conversation, never the words. Only you can open it, in your own time, out loud.
- Private — yours alone. Your partner is never shown the content and is never told that anything was written.
These states are enforced at the data layer, not by a setting in an interface. Shared surfaces — shared answers, summaries, the conversation guide, exports — are built so that they are structurally unable to read Private content.
Payment
When a couple pays, the payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive a record that a payment succeeded and what it was for. We never see or store your full card number.
How the product is used
Basic, minimal usage events — that a chapter was started or finished, that a screen was opened, that something failed — so we can tell whether the product works and where it breaks. We do our best to keep the content of your answers out of this entirely.
Technical information
Device type, app version, rough region, and error logs. Ordinary, and necessary to keep the thing running.
Artificial intelligence, said plainly
Prevow uses a language model to adapt the wording of authored questions to your context, and to draft a starting point for each chapter line. Two things follow from that, and we would rather say them than bury them:
- Content you have marked Share may be processed by that model, on our servers, to produce those outputs. Content marked Private is not sent to it.
- We do not permit your words to be used to train third-party models.
The model adapts wording. It does not invent the subject matter of sensitive questions, and it cannot produce a grade or a percentage — the system refuses that output by design.
Who can see what
- You — everything you have written.
- Your partner — only what your consent states allow, and only at the moment the chapter allows it.
- Us — a small, named set of people with access limited to what their job requires: keeping the service running, resolving a support request you have raised, or reviewing a safety flag. Access is logged.
- Service providers — hosting, payment processing, error reporting and messaging. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Nobody else. We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Safety
A small number of free-text fields are screened for signals of coercion, fear or harm. A confirmed signal results in one thing: a private, non-judgemental card of support resources shown to that person alone. Your partner is not notified. Nothing is escalated to your partner, and nothing is published anywhere. The acceptable use and safety page sets out what the screening does, what it never does, and how to report something.
How long we keep things
- While you use Prevow — for as long as your account is active.
- If the two of you separate — shared material becomes inaccessible by default, and a limited window opens in which both of you may agree to export it. After that window, shared material is deleted. Your own answers remain yours alone, to export or erase.
- If you delete your account — your answers are deleted. We retain only what the law requires us to keep, such as basic billing records.
- Backups — deleted material may persist in encrypted backups for a short, fixed period before those backups roll over.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. You can withdraw consent for optional processing. You can complain to us first, and to a data protection authority if we have not put it right. Write to us and we will act on it — we aim to respond within thirty days, and usually much sooner.
Children
Prevow is for adults preparing to marry. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Where your data lives
Our servers and service providers may be located in more than one country. Wherever your data is processed, the protections described on this page follow it.
Changes to this page
If we change something material, we will tell you inside the product rather than quietly editing this page. The date below is the date this version took effect.
Asking us something
Privacy questions, access requests and complaints all go to one address: prevow.app@gmail.com. A person reads them. We acknowledge within two working days, treat a grievance as raised the moment you say the word, and aim to resolve within thirty days.
The other routes are on the contact page, and every document we have published is listed on the policies page.
