What this space is for.
Prevow only works if both people can write honestly. Every rule below exists to protect that, and to protect the person on the other side of the pairing.
The short version
- Prevow is for two adults who intend to marry each other. One account is one person.
- Never use Prevow to pressure, frighten, watch over or mislead your partner.
- Private means private. Do not try to reach around the parts of the system that hold that line.
- A small number of free-text fields are screened for signals of harm. What comes back is a card of support, shown to one person, never a report to the other.
- If an account breaks these rules we may suspend or close it. We will tell you why, and you can appeal.
Who may use Prevow
- You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter an agreement.
- One person holds one account, under their own name and their own contact details.
- One account belongs to one couple at a time, and a couple is exactly two people.
- Do not share your sign-in with anyone, including your partner. The whole design assumes two separate people writing separately.
Prevow is not built for a group, a family, a third party looking on, or one person filling in both sides. If your situation does not quite fit that shape, write to us before you sign up — we would much rather help you set it up properly than close it later.
Honest pairing
Invite only the person you actually intend to marry, and only when they have agreed to take part. Do not sign up on someone else’s behalf, do not use their email or phone number without them knowing, and do not present yourself as somebody you are not.
An invitation can be withdrawn and sent again by the person who sent it. Nothing in the programme opens until the invited partner has explicitly accepted.
How you treat your partner here
This is the rule the rest of the page serves. Prevow asks two people to write down things they may never have said out loud. That is only safe if neither of them can be punished for it.
- Do not threaten, intimidate, harass or demean your partner, inside Prevow or because of something they wrote in it.
- Do not pressure your partner to move an answer from Private or Sealed to Share. Those states are theirs to set and theirs to keep.
- Do not demand their device, their sign-in or their unlocked screen so that you can read what they have not chosen to show you.
- Do not photograph, copy or forward your partner’s answers to anyone else — not to family, not to friends, not to a group.
- Do not answer on your partner’s behalf, or sit over them while they answer, so that the record says something they did not choose to say.
- Do not use Prevow to keep watch on someone, to build a case against them, or to extract admissions to use later.
If any of that feels close to home — whichever side of it you are on — please talk to someone you trust. A programme about honesty cannot make a situation safe where honesty is not, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
What you may not write
- Anything unlawful, or anything that encourages harm to yourself or another person.
- Private details about a third party that are not yours to put in writing.
- Sexual material involving anyone under eighteen. This one has no second chance: the account is closed and the matter is reported to the proper authorities.
- Malicious links, files or code, or anything designed to break the app for someone else.
- Advertising, recruitment, or a business use of any kind. Prevow is not a channel.
Your answers are yours, and we do not read them for entertainment or for marketing. These limits exist because a small number of fields are visible to another human being, and because some material is unlawful to hold at all.
Respecting the three states
Every eligible answer carries one state, set by its author: Share, Sealed or Private. Those states are enforced in the data layer, not by a setting in an interface, and the promise page explains what each one means.
Do not attempt to reach content your partner has not opened to you — by guessing, by probing the app, by using someone else’s sign-in, or by asking us to make an exception. We will not make one, and that is not us being difficult: the system genuinely cannot do it. There is no support request that unlocks another person’s Private answer, and anyone telling you otherwise is not us.
Security and fair technical use
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of Prevow without our written permission.
- Do not use automated means to sign up, sign in, read or collect content.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or work around any technical limit in the app.
- Do not resell, republish or redistribute the questions, the chapter structure or the guides. They are ours, and copying them is the one thing that would make this product worth less to everybody.
- Do not interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or anyone else’s use of it.
If you find a security flaw, tell us at prevow.app@gmail.com before you tell anyone else. We will take it seriously and we will not come after you for reporting it in good faith.
Safety screening, said plainly
A small number of free-text fields are screened for signals of coercion, fear or harm. We would rather describe it here than have you discover it.
- A confirmed signal results in exactly one thing: a private, plainly worded card of support resources, shown to that person alone.
- Your partner is not notified. Nothing is escalated to them, and nothing is added to anything they can see.
- Nothing is published anywhere, and no one outside the small named team can see that it happened.
- We may act on it ourselves only where we believe there is a real risk to someone’s life, or where the law requires it of us.
The screening looks for danger. It does not judge your relationship, and it produces no rating, no summary and no percentage — the system refuses that output by design.
If you are worried about your own safety
If you are in immediate danger, do not wait for us. Contact your local emergency services or a support line in your country. We are a small team and we cannot provide urgent help.
Inside Prevow, three things are always available to you: you can mark any eligible answer Private, you can end the pairing on your own, and you can delete your account. None of the three asks your partner for permission, and none of them tells your partner why.
Reporting something
Write to prevow.app@gmail.com and tell us what happened, when, and what you would like us to do. Give us the account email if you have it. Report anything on this page — including something your own partner has done.
We acknowledge a report within two working days. Anything involving a threat to someone’s safety is looked at the same day we see it. We will not repeat the contents of your report back to the person you reported.
What we do when a rule is broken
We start with the smallest thing that will work and go further only when we have to.
- A note. Most of the time somebody has misread how the product works, and one message settles it.
- Removing content. Where something written breaks the rules above, it can be taken down.
- Suspension. Access pauses while we look at it. You will be told that it happened and why.
- Closure. For serious or repeated breaches, or for anything involving a minor, an account is closed and is not reopened.
When one account in a pairing is suspended or closed, shared material becomes inaccessible to both people. The other partner keeps their own answers, which stay theirs to export or erase. We will not tell either of you what the other one wrote.
Account closure and money
If we close or suspend an account for breaking this policy, we are not able to return the payment — the refunds policy says the same in its own words. If we have got it wrong, please appeal: where an appeal succeeds we put the account back, which is the outcome you actually wanted.
Appealing a decision
Write to prevow.app@gmail.com within fourteen days of the decision and tell us why you think it was wrong. Someone who was not part of the original decision reads it. We aim to answer within thirty days, and we will tell you the outcome either way.
If the answer still does not sit right with you, ask for it to be escalated to our grievance officer, Yugam, at the same address. A grievance is acknowledged within forty-eight hours and closed within thirty days.
Changes to this policy
If we change something material here, we will say so inside the product before it takes effect rather than editing this page quietly. The date below is the date this version took effect.
Asking us something
One place for all of it: prevow.app@gmail.com. A person reads it. If a rule on this page seems unfair, tell us which one and why — that is how several of them came to be worded the way they are.
